Jesus, and the entire duration of his ministry, was a revelation of the Father’s plan. The disciples, and the crowds, often missed the truths constantly being opened up for them, tending instead to stay focused on the spectacular, like miracles of healing (even from the dead!) and crowd feeding and dominion over nature. These were meant simply to illustrate the dynamic truth of the Father’s love. Signs and wonders were never intended as the main event.
