Forever in the heart of God was restoring to relationship the people he had created. This plan, to redeem humanity from the darkness of God-absence, was announced in Genesis 3:15: “And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your offspring and hers; he will crush your head, and you will strike his heel.” The Crucifixion ‘struck Jesus’ heel’ and simultaneously ‘crushed Satan’s head.’ The Resurrection revealed the phenomenal magnitude of the Father’s plan, swinging open the doorway for gathering us to Himself. Pentecost signed, sealed, and delivered all the promises of Jesus in the indwelling of his Spirit.

The 24 elders surrendered their crowns before the throne, singing:

“You are worthy, our Lord and God, to receive glory, honor, and power, for you created all things, and by your plan they were created and exist.”
