A Beloved People
In a magnanimous show of Eternal Love, Jesus came to live amongst us. He chose to die in our place. He rose from the grave to share resurrection life with us. He sent his Spirit to be our Helper in more ways than we can imagine. He equips us with his joy, his peace, his presence, his promises. He gifts us with an abundance of provision staggering in all attempts to quantify. He stands us up in our weakness and guarantees our ‘arrival’ at holiness – his gift, proving we are his beloved people. Paul writes: “ . . . I’m fully convinced that the One who began this glorious work in you will faithfully continue the process of maturing you and will put his finishing touches to it until the unveiling of our Lord Jesus Christ.” Philippians 1:6, TPT.
