In Matthew 11:28,29, Jesus encourages his followers to learn the unforced rhythms of grace, the true lifestyle of the Kingdom and the Trinity. Jesus, as man, had to be taught these rhythms as well, since, in growing up, he faced the same struggles as all of humanity. We, the human family were, by design, God-integrated. Sin dis-integrates us, disarming us and disillusioning us into lifestyles of pitiable self-sufficiency, striving and strife. Jesus offers to right our upside-down-ness.
