Each morning, on our 15-minute walk to the Vineyard Church here, we join others on their way to school and work; moms and kids, teens on scooters, more on bikes and motorbikes, trucks making deliveries, and the occasional taxi (all of which are the same distinctive yellow and black). So far, plenty of bright sunshine and warm temps in the 80’s. Sue’s birdwatching app has picked out a monk parakeet making his ‘Good Morning’ racket in the many trees lining the streets.
It hit me, reading the Thursday email, that the Holy Spirit is at work. Chris’ notes to us this month sing with the exact same message we are hearing from our conference speaker, Derek Morphew, from South Africa! And when this kind of ‘coincidence’ happens, it gets my attention. It says to me, ‘Listen up. This is important.’ God’s sovereignty is shining through the words of both men and merits taking a closer look! (thanks, Chris!)
Today is the final day of our conference and then we head to France next week to visit some of our Vineyard church planters there. Thanks for your prayers for that trip, that we’d be a blessing as representatives of Vineyard Church of the Peninsula, in France.
And, thanks, Amelia, for sharing with us what the Lord is speaking to you. Blessings on y’alls gathering tomorrow, 10 AM, 3 PM UK. PD
