The unleashing of the power of the Spirit was not limited to a fire and wind event at Pentecost. That was just the announcement of His arrival. What followed were days and weeks of incredible happenings, bold preachings, healings, miracles, extravagant generosity, sweet unity, new births by the thousands, fervent prayer, words of knowledge, prophecies, and undaunted perseverance in the face of Jewish leaders’ hatred. The apostles were swept along by a tidal wave of Kingdom power and blessing.
